I've been in the business for 26 years after graduating from Full Sail in 1990. Before formal studies I started at church and professional theater while attending junior and high school. After audio school I started doing studio work. After a while the same studio clients requested me to work on their live shows. In the process I also evolve to producing musically. The combination of studio and live work landed me on live recordings and broadcasts. Audio production for live DVDs connected for movie work doing dialog editing and initial 5.1 mixing to be taken to for final mixing at a cinema size mixing room.

Favorite DPA Microphones

The 4099 is my favorite DPA mic because its a Chameleon. A Chameleon in sound capturing and installation. It sound great in every single application that I tried with it without being obtrusive. There are so many possibilities of attaching the 4099 to the same instrument that is almost miraculous. The most impressive application for the 4099 is on Toms, not many single mics can capture all the low end from the top skin as the 4099 do.
